4th graders are learning about the functions of the iris and pupil by examining a partner's eyes. After one partner closed their eyes for a 20 second countdown, they were amazed to see the size of the pupils change when the eyes were opened!

Thanks to Mrs. Henderson's generosity CES is able to enjoy a "Lettuce Grow" hydroponic gardening system. Third through fifth grade will learn as they share in the gardening care of different types of lettuce, spearmint, broccoli, and green onions. All with the help of Ms. Jennie's green thumb.

New dates and times are as follows:
November 15th and 16th at 6:00PM
November 17th at 2:00PM
This gives our students time to go and support the Volleyball team and not worry about missing rehearsals.
Please go cheer LOUDLY for our Big Dawg Volleyball girls, and then join us the 15th-17th with the same energy!
