As Riverside prepares to open online registration in early July, families who may qualify for free and reduced-price meals are encouraged to complete their application before registering online. 🍎

Income eligibility guidelines are available to help families determine if they may qualify. Applications should be completed and submitted to Food Service Director Jackie Moore at jmoore@riverside.k12.ia.us.

Families who prefer to register in person may do so during Riverside's registration event on July 23. Completing your free and reduced-price meal application early can help make the registration process smoother.

Our food service team is hard at work this summer serving students and supporting families throughout our community! 🍎

So far, the team has prepared and distributed 7,800 seven-day meal packages through our Summer Feeding Program at Riverside, helping ensure students have access to nutritious meals while school is out.

The team also successfully completed and passed the summer food service inspection at Carson Elementary School.

Thank you to our food service staff for their commitment, attention to detail, and dedication to serving our students all year long. We appreciate everything you do for our school community! 👏
