Our 6th graders started their day with a gallery walk as they worked through the start of their new unit in Science. Students checked out their classmates’ initial models of the current phenomenon and got a chance to see the different perspectives and ideas around the room.

It’s only Day 3, so Intro to Industrial Tech is starting with the basics! 🛠️ Students are learning how to safely use the drill press and cordless drills before putting those skills to work on future projects.
From learning how to greet a friend in Kindergarten 👋, how to appropriately join the carpet, actions for a new song in Music 🎶, and the PE game “Fiddlesticks”…our OES students are already back in the swing of building relationships and lifelong skills! 💙💛
