Ms. Brenneis’s 5th grade class stepped back in time at Carstens Farm! Students explored life in the 1800s/1900s, learned to make butter, carpet and string, shelled corn, did laundry, explored farm machinery, and discovered monarchs and their life cycle!






It's Week 3 and 7/8th Grade Choir has earned their Choir Ninja White Belts.
Choir Ninja is a sight-reading program which teaches students to read music using solfège syllables. Students progress through levels to earn "belts".

6th graders are learning how light is transmitted and/or reflected in Science. They examined how the amount of light affects what we see. 💡

Chemistry students tested different levels of carbon dioxide in air to determine the correlation between rising carbon dioxide levels and temperature.

Our 6th graders started their day with a gallery walk as they worked through the start of their new unit in Science. Students checked out their classmates’ initial models of the current phenomenon and got a chance to see the different perspectives and ideas around the room.
