📜 🇺🇸Constitution Day at Carson Elementary! 📜🇺🇸 In honor of U.S. Constitution Day, Mrs. Blum’s 4th grade class put their civic skills to work by creating their very own Class Constitution! The students proudly presented their Constitution to Mrs. Karros and Mrs. Hamilton and invited them to review it and propose any amendments they felt were needed. Now the big question is… will there be an amendment ratification? Stay tuned! Any proposed amendment will need to receive a 3/4 vote for approval before becoming part of the Class Constitution. Bravo to Mrs. Blum and her 4th grade class. What a fun, hands-on way to learn about our Constitution, government, and the amendment process! 🇺🇸

🎲🏈 Homecoming 2026 — Game of Life Day! 🏈🎲 Thursday’s Homecoming theme was “The Game of Life,” and our OES and CES students had a blast bringing it to life! Students dressed up to represent the different stages of life — babies, teenagers, and the elderly — and we saw SO many creative costumes! From tiny tots to future graduates to our wise old souls, the halls were filled with laughter, creativity, and plenty of Homecoming spirit! We love seeing our students get into the spirit and make these Homecoming traditions so much fun! We are Riverside! 💙💛 GO BULLDOGS! 🐾🏈 #RiversideBulldogs #BulldogSpirit #WeAreRiverside

🎉 Congratulations to kindergarten teacher Ms. Marissa Krummel, Riverside’s 2026–2027 First Interstate Bank Teacher of the Year! 🏆💙🐾 We are so proud to have Ms. Krummel representing Riverside and celebrating the incredible work she does for our youngest Bulldogs every day!

🇺🇸 Constitution Day in 4th grade! Federal law requires schools receiving federal funds to provide Constitution education each Sept. 17. Mrs. Blum connected the requirement to CKH by creating their own Classroom Constitution. Now they’re hoping for principal approval! ❤️🤍💙

Just a few hours before being inducted into the Riverside Hall of Fame, alum Jim McKain took time to speak to music and theater students about his work in both areas. Students asked great questions, and Jim's insight was invaluable. Jim is currently performing in Come From Away at the Omaha Community Playhouse. The show runs until October 11th.

Ms. Brenneis’s 5th grade class stepped back in time at Carstens Farm! Students explored life in the 1800s/1900s, learned to make butter, carpet and string, shelled corn, did laundry, explored farm machinery, and discovered monarchs and their life cycle!
