Giving Tuesday 712 is coming up on December 2, and the Riverside Community School District is proud to be part of this celebration of generosity across western Iowa! 🐾
This year, we're inviting our community to support the Riverside PRIDE Capital Campaign—an investment in our students, facilities, and future.
Let’s show what it means to be Bulldog proud by supporting the Riverside PRIDE Capital Campaign on December 2!

On Friday, November 14th, three of Mrs. Flathers' 8th grade students presented their project to a Mrs. Ravlin's class. These students developed a narrative idea, created a comic based on the narrative they wrote, and constructed an activity for students to do that went along with the comic. This was such a neat way for these students to showcase their talents in writing and art. Thank you to everyone who helped make this a success!

Today we proudly recognize Jeff Karros, a valued member of our Riverside staff and a dedicated U.S. Navy veteran. 💙
Jeff served our country in the Navy for an incredible 23 years. During his service, he completed a tour aboard the USS Stout (DDG-55) and the USS O’Kane (DDG-77), and served with SBU-13 attached to SEAL Team III. Jeff made two major deployments and several smaller ones throughout his distinguished career.
Following his time at sea, he transitioned to recruiting duty, where he continued to make an impact before retiring in 2015. Jeff and his family settled in Oakland, where two of his sons graduated from Riverside High School in 2019.
Thank you, Mr. Karros, for your service, dedication, and commitment—both to our country and to the Riverside community! 🇺🇲
