Riverside Elementary Reminder...As the weather changes, please remember to send your child to school dressed in the correct outdoor attire! Thank you for helping our Bulldogs stay warm, comfortable, and ready to learn.

The Riverside Elementary Healthiest State Walk scheduled for Thursday, October 15, at OES (8:30 a.m.) and CES (1:30 p.m.) has been canceled due to unfavorable weather conditions. There will be no rescheduled date. Thank you for your understanding, and we appreciate everyone's support of our Riverside Bulldogs and their commitment to healthy, active lifestyles!

Riverside High School's incredible cast and crew have worked tirelessly to bring Clue to life! From learning lines and perfecting scenes to building sets and creating unforgettable moments, their dedication and hard work have been nothing short of amazing. Get ready for an evening filled with mystery, laughter, and a little murder! We cannot wait to see you for the show December 4th, 5th and 6th!!

Riverside Volleyball has advanced to the WIC Tournament Semi-finals vs. Tri-Center tomorrow night (10/13) at 7:30 pm at Underwood! Tickets will be available for purchase online via Bound.

Last week, our sophomores had the opportunity to go on a group college visit to Northwest Missouri State University! 💚

Our students were able to explore campus, learn more about college life, and imagine the possibilities for their futures. Experiences like these help our students see what’s possible and begin thinking about their next steps after high school!

Riverside hosts the first round & quarterfinals of the WIC Volleyball Tourney on Monday, October 12th! Tickets will be available online via Bound - no Riverside activity passes will be accepted.

Not every unpleasant interaction is bullying.

Students may occasionally experience disagreements, misunderstandings, or hurt feelings with peers. These situations are important and deserve attention, but they may require different solutions than bullying situations.

Teaching students how to resolve conflicts respectfully is an important part of growing and learning. 🤝

Real-World Learning in 5th Grade! Ms. Comstock’s 5th grade students recently had the opportunity to interview with Ms. Perkins for classroom jobs! How exciting! 🌟 Students practiced important real-world skills such as preparing for an interview, communicating clearly, answering questions, listening, showing responsibility, and presenting themselves professionally. They also had the chance to think about their own strengths and how they could contribute to their classroom community. Classroom jobs are more than just having a job to do—they help students develop leadership, independence, teamwork, accountability, and problem-solving skills. Students learn that every role matters and that being a contributing member of a team comes with both responsibility and pride. We love seeing our Bulldogs take learning beyond the textbook and practice skills they will use throughout their lives! 🐾💙💛 Way to go, Ms. Comstock's 5th grade class! We can’t wait to see you put your leadership skills into action!

🎉 Congratulations to 4th grader Evelyn Hart, the Region 5, Division 2 Hand-Drawn Conservation Poster Winner! 🏆 We are so proud of Evelyn and her creativity and dedication! A special thank-you to Pottawattamie County Conservation Education Coordinator Laura Monson and Elementary Art Teacher Jennie Karros for providing such an awesome educational and creative opportunity for Riverside students to participate in.
