Registration for the 2024-25 school year is almost here! Registration will be open for all four year old preschool students-12th graders (three year old preschool students do not have to attend) on the following dates: 📆 July 23, 2024: 8:00am - 1:00pm 📆 July 24, 2024: 4:00 - 8:00pm Registration will be held at the middle/high school building. The health fair will also be going on at the same time.

Riverside Community School District Registration for the 24-25 school year will be happening on Tuesday, July 23 8:00-1:00 and July 24 4:00-8:00 at the Middle-High School (18997 Hwy 59, Oakland). See you there to register and for all our health services. #WeRRiverside

Teresa Schnack was appointed to our school board at last night's board meeting. We are very happy to have her serving our community. Teresa has been extensively involved with RCSD in various roles over the years: substitute teacher, former board member and director of Riverside Child Care, cheerleading sponsor, and importantly, a parent. Teresa says, "As someone who has worked in the field of education for years, I feel my background and skills provide me with a unique position to serve on the Riverside Community School Board. I understand the importance of having educators, parents, and community members working together with the focus being on students and what is best for their success. Even though I recently retired from teaching, being on the Riverside Board will allow me to continue serving in some capacity in the field of education, which is my true passion."

Phase 2 of the Capital Campaign is underway. Please consider donating to this cause for wells for the athletic complex, new sprinkler system, satellite concessions/restrooms, greenhouse, and playground for the elementary school. #WeRRiverside

Thank you to everyone who participated and donated to the student council slow-pitch softball fundraiser today! It was a successful day of softball, laughter, fun, and great weather. In total, we raised over $800! We can not thank everyone enough! Have a safe and happy 4th of July!

Jackie Moore applied and received the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Grant for the Carson building for the 24-25 school year! The FFVP provides all enrolled children in participating schools with a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the school day, outside of meal service times. Great job, Jackie!

UPDATE: Tonight's baseball game vs. Griswold has been cancelled. Softball is postponed to tomorrow, July 3rd. Varsity will play first at 4:30 pm with JV to follow.
