Message from Ms. Rasmussen: It is with deepest regret that I inform you that the semi truck did show up this morning but unfortunately our strawberries were not on the back of the truck. That being said, right now I am being told that it will be the earliest tomorrow at some time. When that time is, I will inform you as soon as I know.

Parents can support consistent school attendance by understanding the cause of health-related absences, which can often be avoided. Children may avoid school due to the symptoms of anxiety, which may include decreased appetite, feeling tired, stomachache, and headache. If you are concerned your child is missing school due to anxiety, talk with a teacher, the school nurse, a social worker, or other school staff to discuss the challenge and identify possible solutions. Check out more information at attendanceworks.org.
