We're excited to announce that Riverside CSD has been awarded a $40,000 STEM BEST Grant, which will help fund the Capital Campaign’s greenhouse project. 🌱 The @Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council at the Department of Education is awarding 29 STEM BEST (Businesses Engaging Students and Teachers) grants nationwide to enhance hands-on learning opportunities for students. Annie Brooke, Riverside Ag Teacher and FFA Sponsor, said, “This grant will help us build our greenhouse, where students will develop skills in sustainability, chemical application, agricultural technology, entrepreneurship, and teamwork. The greenhouse will extend learning beyond the typical classroom, creating an interactive space that we hope to share with the entire school and community.” Thanks to Annie for your dedication to ag education and leadership in securing this grant! Our Riverside girls showed up to wrestle tonight at regionals. We have 4 girls who qualified for the state tournament next week and many others placed in the top 4. Proud night to be a Bulldog! #WeRRiverside

1st Graders in Mrs. Henningson's room were learning about Termites by reading a nonfiction book. #WeRRiverside

Congratulations to Chyan Rains and Randy Glaubius. Both students placed 1st in their Special Olympics Basketball Skills Event today. Wish them well as they move onto State in March. Way to represent Riverside.

Students across the district had the opportunity to have their teeth examined and sealant applied through the iSmile program. Thanks to Nurse Meridith for organizing this opportunity for our kids.
