Dear Families,
Through donations from individuals, families, and businesses, the Riverside Community School District is making the facility improvements we need to support a safe and high-quality environment for our students. It’s a big part of our commitment to continue building our legacy!
Now, I am pleased to share that we are adding a new project to Phase II of the Riverside PRIDE campaign: Upgrades to the playground equipment at Oakland Elementary School! This project would benefit both elementary and preschool students, at an estimated cost of $160,000.
The addition of this project to Phase II has been made possible through our partnership with the Riverside Principal’s Cabinet.
In total, Phase II now includes:
Football field with natural grass ($450,000)
Installation of wells to water the football, softball & baseball fields ($60,000)
Satellite concession stand with restrooms near the softball & baseball fields ($50,000)
Greenhouse for our Agriculture program ($150,000)
Oakland Elementary Playground ($160,000)
There’s still plenty of time to contribute to the Riverside PRIDE campaign! All donation amounts are accepted and appreciated. No matter your donation amount, you’ll be making a real impact on our students, families, and community. Learn more and get started by visiting www.GoRiversidePride.org.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly.
As we’ve said many times before, this is a truly special community that constantly elevates its local schools. Thank you, as always, for your amazing support of Riverside CSD and the students we serve.
Sincerely,
Dr. Stephanie Anderson
Superintendent
