In October and November, SkillUSA students in Mr. Dorr's classes focused on practical skills in a variety of settings.
Mr. Dorr and his SkillUSA class officer team recently pitched their idea for a sensory playground at Oakland Elementary School. The elementary students will be given the opportunity to vote on which new playground additions they prefer, and the selected designs will be constructed and assembled by the SkillUSA members.
In Mr. Dorr's Auto Mechanics Class, students are currently studying exhaust systems, brakes, and performing 14 point inspections. Additionally, each student will demonstrate their knowledge by performing an oil change.
