LARGE HAIL & TORNADO THREAT FOR FRIDAY May 12, 2023
A broken line of thunderstorms will develop in Nebraska by 2:00 PM and spread north & east across the region through 9:00 PM. There is a potential for hail up to 2 inches & tornadoes. Be alert to incoming storms and possible warnings.
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED TORNADO WATCH IN
EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM CDT THIS EVENING FOR OUR AREA.
We expect normal school dismissal. If we move into a Warning of any kind and storms move into the area we will delay school dismissal, if needed, until it is safe to allow students to go home.
The greatest chance of severe weather is between 6:00 PM -9:00 PM. All school activities after 6:00 PM Friday May 12, 2023 have been postponed.
